Pietro M @RT16261490 8h Lo Squalo 2 è un sequel riuscito, anche se inevitabilmente vive nell’ombra del capolavoro originale. Ripropone una struttura simile al primo film, ma riesce comunque a offrire momenti di buona tensione e intrattenimento. Roy Scheider è ancora eccellente nei panni di Martin Brody, conferendo credibilità a un personaggio ormai iconico. Lo squalo è minaccioso e alcune sequenze in mare sono costruite con efficacia, mantenendo alta la suspense. Certo, manca la regia geniale di Spielberg e la sceneggiatura è meno brillante, con personaggi secondari meno memorabili e qualche situazione prevedibile. Tuttavia il film evita gli eccessi e le assurdità che caratterizzeranno i capitoli successivi, rimanendo un thriller solido e piacevole da seguire. Non raggiunge mai la perfezione del primo Lo Squalo, ma conserva lo spirito della saga e rappresenta un seguito rispettabile, capace ancora oggi di coinvolgere e divertire gli appassionati del genere. Forever. It makes no sense. Eventually leading to part 4, Jaws The Revenge, which is one of the most ridiculous and far fetched movies ever made. And this one is no great shakes, either, let me tell you. At least is has Roy Scheider, Lorraine Gary, most of the original cast, and John Williams' excellent score.
