TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Mar 11 Jungle Juice is a gritty drama that centers on themes often portrayed in stories about struggling communities, including crime, violence, drugs, and broken relationships. The film leans heavily into dialogue and takes its time building the story, which means viewers need patience to follow everything that unfolds. There are enough tense moments, including conflicts and violent encounters, to keep the narrative moving and maintain some level of interest throughout the runtime. At the same time, the movie oddly feels much older than it actually is. Even though it was released in 2022, the cinematography and pacing make it feel dated, almost like watching a film from a much earlier era. That visual style sometimes pulls you out of the experience. Still, the story holds together well enough to make it a decent one time watch. It’s worth checking out once, but it doesn’t feel memorable enough to revisit regularly. See more Angel L @RT24843510 08/02/2024 The movie definitely gave me Godfather vibes. I think it did a great job at depicting organized crime in the present day. See more Read all reviews
