Chia C @RT91754804 Apr 25 Honestly, this movie feels like a solid epilogue special rather than a full-on standalone film, and that's probably the best way to approach it. The story picks up after the TV series ending, and it immediately throws you into a political-style conflict where Sento gets framed and the new world starts questioning the very heroes who saved it. That idea is actually pretty interesting. It shifts from "monster fighting" to "public trust and manipulation," which fits Build's themes really well. The action is fun and fast-paced as expected, and seeing Sento and Ryuga back together again hits the right nostalgia button. The suit designs and final battle sequences are strong, even if they don't feel as emotionally heavy as the TV finale. That said, the movie doesn't fully explore its ideas deeply. The stakes feel slightly lower compared to what Build already achieved in the series. It also requires prior knowledge of the series, which doesnt work well for a standalone film.
