The wonderful Rashida Jones voices a teacher who could become a love interest for Jesper. And any movie that casts Norm Macdonald as a cynical boat captain who sounds exactly like Norm MacDdnald is all right by me.

Phenomenal movie - This should be considered one of the true Christmas classics. I am extremely appreciative that Netflix granted the theater permission to play it. I also pray that this movie is made available on disc someday - it truly deserves to be seen everywhere Christmas is celebrated.

Starts out VERY strong. In the end it falls back on some tired troupe standards that it had avoided during the whole film. Much of the conflict is a bit silly, and and full of hyperbole. It does manage to surprise at times. Overall, very well done and stands out in a frankly overdone genre.
