Whipping along at speed, with elaborate camera movements and rousing speeches, this knows how to engage a crowd. It's corny, of course, but a guilty pleasure: romantic, diverting, with mildly amusing modern gags.

When it comes to medieval action comedies, A Knight’s Tale really stands out among the few that there are. The story may sound familiar (a low-born protagonist tries to change their stars), but the way it’s presented is completely unique. The anachronistic music feels jarring when it first hits, but eventually you grow to love the blend of the old and the new. Heath Ledger proves himself as a leading man and, with the exception of one cringe-worthy dance sequence, the performances, acting, and emotions all hit their mark. I’m glad to see that A Knight’s tale still rides high after all this time.

Not a bad idea for a story line, but do it with some class. It's like Game of Thrones with toilet humor. In the first episode we see the protagonist bent over pushing his bowels with unnecessary graphics. Then a revolting character that keeps popping loogies. The second episodes welcomes you with a large "sausage." Yep. No intro or reason. I felt this show is catering to the lowest toilet humor entertainment. It relies on shock value instead of content. I didn't even finish episode two.

Who cares if the plot isn’t perfect, acting isn’t Oscar worthy, etc.. This movie is the perfect mix of predictability, corniness, and rousing good fun!
