Ben W 02/25/2024 It’s a good and fun movie. Not quite as good as the previous two, but a worthy entry in the franchise. Recommend for sure. See more Raja A @Trafficman 1d Crazy to think that at one point this was my favourite kung fu panda film. Although I now think of it to be the weakest of the first three movies, I still think that it is incredibly underrated. For one, I personally love the continuation of Po's arc with him struggling with not only teaching kung fu, but also his own personal identity as a: panda, the dragon warrior, a teacher a student, or who his true family is. I also think that out of all the films in the franchise, this is not only the most magical and optimistic, but also has the best animation,and music out of all the films. Although Kai isn't as great as Tai lung or lord shen, I still think that he's a pretty underrated villain who's also destroyed by his own hubris, but I wish his motivations were explored further. Also there are a few Plot holes, like how did TIGREss know the location of the secret panda village? and how did she get there so fast? but it doesn't really serve as a detriment to the film.
