Hans Dieter H @RT00043584 Mar 17 A beautiful film about the coming of age of a charming young girl, lovingly directed by the great artist David Hamilton (who was so unjustly accused based on unbelievable statements). Add to that the romantic music of Patrick Juvet and the sun-drenched landscape of southern France. The unforgettable Dawn Dunlap is absolutely brilliant in the lead role. The mother-daughter relationship between Laura and Sara[h] (Maud Adams) is portrayed with great sensitivity. A film for the whole family. Not a single scene is offensive; everything is clean and aesthetically pleasing. A film that has captivated millions. It's completely incomprehensible that today's stupid, incompetent moralists would tear apart this masterpiece with idiotic comments and reviews. For Dawn Dunlap, this marked the start of her short but all the more remarkable film career. She still has many fans today who love and adore her! This movie and Dawn Dunlap set the standard for young ladies that I found attractive. It completely altered my view of beauty. See more Read all reviews
