It follows Lola (aka LOL), a high school girl navigating relationships, friendships, and family drama while dealing with the usual teen angst. Demi Moore plays her mom, and the movie tries to balance humor with emotional moments, but it leans more into a cheesy, early-2010s aesthetic. It’s a remake of a French film, and while Miley Cyrus does her best with the material, the movie itself feels pretty predictable and lacks the bite of other teen dramas from that era. If you’re a Miley fan, it might be worth a nostalgic watch, but otherwise, it’s a pretty forgettable teen flick. Did you ever watch it, or are you just curious about how it holds up?
