I approached this with some trepidation because I just didn't know what to expect but found myself laughing out loud and really enjoying it which I think was the point of the special; to make us feel good during such a difficult time. Mariah doesn't take herself so seriously and plays up the diva thing but in such a quirky and endearing manner you can't help but get a kick out of it. The appearance of Ariana and Jennifer is done in a fun manner too as is Snoop Dog randomly appearing in a Santa suit to rap a few lines. It's a lighthearted, quirky, and fun special that will have you smiling from ear to ear, and will find the simple but true message of hope and healing a bit touching whether you're a fan of Mariah or not.
