Distinguishes itself with its clever wrinkles on a familiar premise. ... The kind of modestly-budgeted indie horror flick that I love to discover. Go to Full Review

Films like this are disappointing for a whole different reason, because they remind us how we really only get to choose films from a preselected list of films that bothered to have audio description. Go to Full Review

Marshmallow is resourceful, refreshing, and worth your attention—a sneakily thought-provoking experience that's so much more than what we assume it to be. Go to Full Review

Though he’s managed to draw better-than-average performances from his cast of pre-teens, Daniel DelPurgatorio’s mash-up of horror and sci-fi proves ultimately less than the sum of its many parts. Go to Full Review

Marshmallow announces DelPurgatorio as a filmmaker worth watching, and Greskoviak as a skilled writer. The solid script is the foundation for a movie so efficiently produced that wise studios should take note. Go to Full Review

It’s a bit of a trek getting to that huge plot change-up, and while I felt the fatigue and frustration setting in, this movie is a trip still worth taking. Just hang in there and you’ll be rewarded. Go to Full Review

JULIA M Apr 16 This movie was a mess . Bad acting, weak writing. A waste of 90 minutes🤮 See more Padjka Apr 13 Marshmallow is a wonderful coming of age camp movie with the right amount of scare, endearing characters and a great twist! We can all relate to the awkwardness that comes with being a young teen and the friends we make who help us through these times. We absolutely loved this film. See more Darrieus G @Deusraix 3d I went into this mostly blind with just the small description from Google, I was expecting your typical camp slasher and I fully thought I had it figured out after Collins mentioned "resetting" CJ, I thought the kids were brainwashed or something. Boy was I shocked when the twist happened and then again at the ending. The acting ass decent, nothing super memorable but everyone played their role well enough. Great coming of age flick that also deals with trauma. What ever plot holes I thought there would be were tied up pretty quickly(I questioned how the were doing all of this without the authorities or parents knowing, only to find out everyone is in on it). On one side what the camp and the organization are doing for the families is wholesome. But on the other to the kids it's kinda fucked up. The ending was left pretty open ended and left somethings unanswered, like what caused the kids to get hostile. Possibly setting up for a sequel? See more Read all reviews
