As a concert film, Mary J. Blige: For My Fans is exactly what it says, a somewhat unfocused and unshaped documentary which feels intended to satisfy die-hard fans who would never make demands of the Queen of Hip Hop Soul in the first place.

I went to see Mary J. Blige in concert, so watching this movie was a must for me. Her experience on the road was truly brilliant, personal, and inspiring. I loved seeing a deeper side of her journey and how much passion she brings to everything she does. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to see more from Mary J. Blige.

I enjoyed it all. The performance was amazing and most importantly MJB interviewed toward the end when she got emotional had my eyes watery because I can relate to some different times when I had to keep moving in spite of my hardship.
