The best you can offer Masterplan is faint praise: it could breeze by as company to your Sunday night takeout even if you will struggle to remember it a week later. Go to Full Review

This won’t go down as one of Tucci’s finest films, but it’s a fun way to pass a cold October night when you’re looking for a horror or Hallmark romance alternative. Go to Full Review

Masterplan knows it’s ridiculous, which helps with its watchability if not exactly its quality. Go to Full Review

It’s one of those movies that hammers every plot point three times (in case you dozed off), the acting lies flat and lifeless, and Masterplan will eventually, mercifully, end, and presumably vanish from your Prime Video recommendations. Go to Full Review

Stanley Tucci deserves so much more than this film could ever give him. Go to Full Review

As far as straight-to-streaming heist movies go – and yes, that is very much a genre in its own right these days – Masterplan is one of the better efforts you will come across. Go to Full Review

james I @RT77068628 2 hrs ago The plot is generic, the acting isn't great, storyline is strange, and the lines were spoken like they were just rehersing the script. I created an account here specifically just to recommend others don't waste their time watching this movie. See more Tani T @mkymowz 17 hrs ago If your target audience was 8 year old boys, you hit the nail on the head. Anyone over that age needs to pass on this one. Even Stanley Tucci couldn’t save it. Considering he doesn’t list it on his Wikipedia file, that tells you everything you need to know. See more ARNEZ C @Arny6tearz 1 day ago Stanley tucci does it again in an amazing talented movie a wild concept stealing Mona Lisa just crazy all out fun. See more Argyle T @Argyle 3 days ago My word this is awful...none of these actors have any connection, the story is dumb for modern dumb audiences See more Micah U @MicahYou 4 days ago Expectation: dumb made for streaming heist comedy. What I liked: I give a lot of credit to Stanley Tucci, Victor Belmondo, and Simona Tabasco. This is a bad script and a fairly generic obviously made for streaming movie. Nonetheless, the three main actors actually play the underlying theme of a group of lonely people coming together to form a family with tons of sincerity and it actually worked for me. I actually felt a little emotion well up at the emotional climax. What I didnt like: The script is rough. The jokes are very belabored. Quite a bit of the plot stretches credulity. It shouldnt be a good movie yet I got way more out of it due to the performances. Conclusion: a streaming heist movie that just might surprise you with its genuine performances.
