A comedic send-up of the grim circumstances of the Middle Ages as told through the story of King Arthur and framed by a modern-day murder investigation. Some people don't understand some of the British humor in it, but it doesn't detract from it being a silly, yet classic film. The Black Knight scene to the quirky ending is perfect for days when one just wants to laugh and not worry about thinking hard about plot lines and scripts. The simplicity of the plot makes it even more creative, pulling it off for the complete run time.
