The good news: there are many twists, turns, subplots and surprises that the coming attractions don't even hint at. While it presents an interesting lead character with great potential for a unique serial killer thriller, it is ultimately failed by a bad script. The plot relies on predictable and lazy plot drivers, which feel uninspired and hinder the film’s momentum. Surprisingly slow, the movie's two-hour runtime is really felt, as the narrative meanders and struggles to build genuine tension or engage the viewer. Overall, what could have been a compelling psychological thriller ends up feeling like a sluggish, squandered opportunity.
