When the exhibits at New York's Natural History Museum start behaving strangely, Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) -- now the director of nighttime operations -- must find out the cause. He learns that the Tablet, which magically brings Teddy Roosevelt (Robin Williams), Jedediah (Owen Wilson) and the other exhibits to life at night, has started to decay. Larry, along with his son and museum friends, must travel to London's British Museum to learn how to prevent the Tablet's magic from disappearing.

It feels old hat and despite the nostalgic rush of seeing the late Mickey Rooney and Robin Williams on the big screen, it's less exciting to see Sir Ben Kingsley as Ahkmenrah's father delivering bad double entendres like, "I am a pharaoh. Kiss my staff."

It was not as good as the first two, and there were a lot of problems with the story and the humor. But overall, I really enjoyed watching it, and it still made me laugh. This was a great homage to the Night at the Museum franchise, and the entire trilogy is incredibly enjoyable. I definitely recommend it!

Couldn't recommend this one. I couldn't bring myself to like it. Definitely the worst of the trilogy. Dull story, it's like they didn't finish the script. it's very repetitive towards the end, though, the film had a good premise. 2 stars, God bless.

Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb feels like a mixed entry in the series. It has the same playful concept and familiar charm that made the earlier films entertaining, but this one never quite reaches the same level of fun or energy. The movie is watchable and has moments that are lighthearted and enjoyable, yet it also feels a bit routine and less memorable than the stronger installments. The cast still does a decent job, and the movie keeps a family-friendly tone that makes it easy to sit through. Still, compared to the best parts of the series, it comes off as a middle-of-the-road sequel that does enough to pass the time without leaving a strong impression. It is not bad, just a little underwhelming. Overall, this is a mid film from the series. 5/10.
