After watching it, I honestly had to take a step back from Tubi for a while. Don’t get me wrong—Tubi has its gems, and it’s great for discovering hidden classics or revisiting nostalgic favorites. But lately, it’s become a dumping ground for low-budget flops and poorly executed horror thrillers like this one. This movie had potential—at least on paper. The premise sounded like it could’ve been dark, twisted, and fun, but the execution was a complete mess. The direction is unfocused, the tone shifts constantly, and the story never finds its footing. It’s as if the director wanted to build something from scraps but didn’t have the right tools—or the patience—to do it right. Scenes don’t flow into one another; they just exist, loosely stitched together without any real tension or buildup. The screenplay is where things truly fall apart. It feels rushed, unedited, and hollow—like something written in one sitting and never read again. There’s no structure, no rhythm, and no character development to care about. Dialogue feels forced, the pacing drags, and by the midpoint, you realize you’re watching a movie that doesn’t even know what it wants to be. It flirts with revenge horror, dips into slasher territory, then wanders off into incoherent chaos. The cinematography doesn’t help either. The camera work feels random, as if shots were chosen without any consideration for tone or storytelling. There’s no visual consistency—no sense of purpose behind how the film is framed or lit. It looks like a student film that never made it past its rough cut. Even the acting, which could have saved parts of it, feels phoned in. You can tell the cast is doing what they can, but when the direction is this weak and the writing this scattered, there’s only so much an actor can do. In the end, No One Lives feels like a project made for the sake of having a project. It’s not scary, it’s not engaging, and it’s definitely not memorable. It’s the kind of film that fades from your mind almost immediately after the credits roll—which, honestly, might be for the best. If you’re scrolling through Tubi looking for a late-night horror watch, skip this one. There are far better ways to spend your time—and far better horror films that actually respect your attention. Characters act exactly how the plot requires them to, and know way too much just to reach the next scene. Barely entertaining with an ending that continues to last and last with no worthwhile outcome. See more Enzo N @RT30682168 Aug 6 Je m'attendais à un navet, mais finalement, le film reste passable. Le jeu d'acteur des personnages est mauvais, les mises à mort aussi, etc... Pour faire simple, j'ai juste aimé la menace que représente le psychopathe, c'est tout, le film arrive à nous le montrer comme un véritable danger, il extermine carrément les bandits, mais sinon, c'est tout. Les 2 plus gros défauts du film à mon sens sont déjà la fin que je n'ai pas aimé, et aussi la pseudo victime du psychopathe. Je pense que le film voulait nous faire une sorte de syndrome de Stockholm entre elle et sont bourreau mais ça ne c'est pas passer comme prévu.
