Nonostante questo, la sceneggiatura molto interessante e le location sempre spettacolari, riescono pienamente a sopperire a questa carenza, offrendo un risultato assolutamente di spessore. Mezzo punto in più per il finale drammatico, che in futuro sarà più volte rilanciato, tanto da diventare peculiare nel personaggio, e che deve a questo capitolo le sue origini. The love story is genuinely romantic and Blofeld's evil psychedelic hypnosis plan to distribute a virus via an international group of brainwashed young women is the kind of thing that I wish these movies did more of. Lazenby is a good James Bond actually, he has a kind of quiet melancholy that adds convincing depth to the character. Also the tragic ending is still surprising and heartbreaking.
