The entire movie kept me on edge, wondering what was going to happen next. The story was engaging and suspenseful from beginning to end. The script isn’t completely clear, and even by the ending it’s hard to understand exactly what happened or what will happen next. Still, that mystery makes it even more interesting and keeps you thinking. It’s a great movie for anyone who wants to get scared

More proof of Mike Flanagan's horror expertise. Through a combination of original scares and tributes to some great horror hits (such as the body contortions of The Last Exorcism), this film has some of the best surreal horror I've seen in years. And, for anyone who likes watching movies in a series by order of release, but has heard the 2014 original is terrible, you absolutely do not need to watch Ouija (2014) first to completely follow this plot. Enjoy!

Not Flanagan’s best work, not his worst by far. Starts off kind of goofy, a little campy maybe, but ends up pretty horrifying and definitely intense. Fans of the genre will enjoy.
