Pizza Movie is a surreal comedy .... What starts as a simple task—three students going downstairs to grab a pizza—quickly spirals into a bizarre, multi-layered journey. Driven by a strange drug, each stage of their trip reveals hidden fears, flaws, and uncomfortable truths about themselves. The film cleverly expands a minimal premise into a sequence of shifting realities, blending absurd humor with introspective themes. While some jokes overstay their welcome and the logic feels intentionally loose, the evolving characters and bold self-awareness keep it engaging. A chaotic yet thoughtful ride that uses nonsense to uncover something real.

This was such a fun watch! Caleb Hearon's episode of "So True" with Gaven Matarazzo brought me here & I was so excited to see them in a movie together. I was cracking up the whole movie. Listen, if you don't like coming of age stoner movies like Superbad, Project X, or Pineapple Express, this one is not for you. There was ONE moment where I thought ok this scene is a little silly, but hey, that's okay..the other 99% of the movie was just awesome. All in all I'd definitely recommend it! It was refreshing in its creativity and the characters were so unique

……………………………………. What did I just witness? Like I’ve never witnessed this absolute fever dream since “Sausage party, Good boys, and bee movie”, but besides that this was pretty funny and the phase one part got me dying of laughter, Gaten and the rest of the cast did pretty good and we don’t get comedy films like this anymore, and watching this was a breath of fresh air. 7.9/10
