I loved this movie and watch it faithfully. I didn’t search for it but it came up on my peacock premium account and I’m so thankful it did. I’ve had a recent testimony as a 23 year old with God. And have been on a path with him in our reformed relationship and trust with the rap music the partying watching your "friends" on social media sin but make it look so good it definitely is testing! This movie helps people like me realize church can be a "move" as in movement we say and can modernize and change along with the generations and new norms of society. It helps get my generation and the younger gen’s into "church" while following and praising Jesus I love the songs/soundtracks in this movie and really hope they make another!!! But Melissa definitely wouldn’t be in my church or team anymore aha!

I don't think I would have chosen this movie on my own. I'm glad it popped up on my peacock autoplay. It was awesome. The different styles of music they had. I loved the storyline it kept me engaged every step of the way.

Praise This Pitch Perfect meets church and you get Praise This. This is a feel good movie meant to instill faith, but it doesn't deliver this in an overbearing manner where you feel faith is being shoved down your throat. The first half of the movie was cringey, but it progressively got better. The acting is good, and Chloe Bailey shines, showing she can Sing (I mean, we all knew she can, but she came to reinforce that point), act and dance. The plot and dialogues need work, but overall, Praise This stays true to being a feel good movie about singing and faith. 6/10
