Starring martial arts icon Scott Adkins as British SAS officer James Wright, Prisoner of War tells the story of a soldier captured by the Japanese and held in a Philippine POW camp. Prisoner of War got a 67% rating from RT. That's enough for me to watch. Every scene in this movie was either moronic fantasy or Kung Foolish. The plot involves calling in a tow plane to pick up a glider crashed in the jungle. All arranged with a walkie talkie-like radio from a Japanese prison camp. The Japanese are stereotypical murderous idiots who keep getting pummeled by Scott Adkins, (who should be ashamed of this rubbish). The ending was embarrassingly inane. Scott Adkins delivers a great performance. The fighting is intense and I enjoyed the psychological game taking place with Peter Shinkoda. Scott is a great actor that has a lot of charisma. Very satisfying.

So out of curiosity how shit can you make a film from fake made guns to shit uniforms. Couldn't they afford a real katana. Film was a pure embarrassment. Id rather watch kickboxer than this. Oh and the acting was also shit. Scott adkins should feel embarrassed.
