Marco L @decatur555 2d Rewind feels like the kind of low-grade sci-fi thriller you’d half-watch on a sleepy Sunday afternoon and forget immediately afterward. The core idea — time travel, a terrorist catastrophe, and a mission to rewrite the past — could have led somewhere fun, but the script is so thin and underworked that almost nothing lands. The characters are generic archetypes instead of real people, the logic is full of holes, and the story never builds real tension, curiosity, or excitement. Rather than turning its premise into something clever or adventurous, it becomes increasingly mechanical and silly. Not even Jeff Fahey or David Cronenberg can do much with material this weak. A potentially interesting setup wasted on a clumsy, generic, and very forgettable piece of sci-fi. See more Read all reviews
