It would be true to say that Stallone has improved as a director, delivering a short, almost staccato movie which zips through the whole fable fast enough to prevent familiarity breeding contempt.

The Survivor song, "Eye of the Tiger," might be the best thing about this film which has Rocky going against Mr. T as Rocky's adversary.

Another decent sequel, this one serves to tie the Apollo and Rocky storylines together in a shared victory. Mr. T is awesome as Clubber Lang. AEB says: my favorite of the three thus far.

There are some flaws like mid writing, mid character development, and not much depth in the story. But there are pros like Apollo training Rocky, Mick’s death scene, and a satisfying ending. Perfect to watch if you are just looking for entertainment

It might not be as deep as the first two Rocky movies, but it is a sequel of pure entertainment and I love it. It also has the best two fights of any of the Rocky movies. I have seen it many times and every time it is just as fresh and fun. Pure entertainment makes it one of the better sequels. Mr. T is raw perfection.

Campy, but watchable. I like Mr. T as the villain (Clubber Lang) because his acting is amazing. I also like Apollo being a good guy because it gives him a chance at redemption. Plus, Eye of the Tiger is a catchy song. However, some parts of the film was just very silly, but I can see why this film has its fans.
