"Rosaline" is a fresh and comedic twist on Shakespeare's classic love story "Romeo & Juliet," told from the perspective of Juliet's cousin Rosaline (Kaitlyn Dever), who also happens to be Romeo's recent love interest. An absolute delight. The cast has great chemistry and even the secondary and tertiary characters pop. Tragic that Hulu buried this one instead of letting it go theatrical so it could be enjoyed in a crowd

“Rosaline” is a perfectly fun film, and can be sharp in execution when it wants to be. But as much as Rosaline exudes wit and rebellion at every turn, the character lacks the depth that makes a Kat Stratford live on in the cultural lexicon.
