I thought it was beautiful and very thought provoking. The acting was beautiful and very heartfelt. Will Smith conveyed so many emotions, at times, without saying a word. His facial expressions almost make you feel as though you can hear his internal monologue. It’s very human. I was glued to the screen from the start and still wanting to know more after the end of the film. I also think it’s very telling of his behaviour, his daily interactions showcase how difficult it is to tell when someone is in a difficult place mentally. I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Will Smith's performance as the lead is certainly committed, but the script didn't give him enough material to work with - much like "Collateral Beauty" several years later.
