Claudio C @Claudio666 Mar 18 Flawed Slasher (12,337 – 17 Mar 2026 – Claudio Carvalho) The boy Julio idolizes his father, who is a notorious serial-killer wearing a red hood. Ten years later, he became a legend, with the disappearance of forty people. Lucas travels with his girlfriend Úrsula, his cousin Lore, his Italian friend Mario and Shayla to the village where The Red Devil attacked. He has a discussion with Úrsula, and she flirts with Julio, who works with his mother Carmen in her grocery. On his birthday, Carmen gives a mask to Julio and says that he must follow the family tradition, and he begins a crime spree. "Slasher" (2023) is a flawed Spanish slasher with a simple story and a terrible attempt to make the film also a comedy. It is amazing that the group are in an isolated area and when Shayla disappears, they believe she met someone and is "shagging". Then Lore and Mario also vanish without consequences. My vote is five. Title (Brazil): "A Máscara da Morte" ("The Mask of the Death") See more Junek K @junek Oct 17 I thought it would be another one of those horror movies, but it completely surpassed my imagination. That character is hella scary and I could actually see this happening in real life cuz the killings are realistic and the acting is stellar. Great directing, too. There's actually a modern plot that represents diverse people (which is new in these type of films). Maybe that's why it seemed that more realistic. It's really good. See more Read all reviews
