01/04/2013 sad story of a girl in 19th century's Sicily, adapted from Giovanni Verga's novel See more 05/17/2008 A beautiful film, although very frustrating - it almost feels claustrophobic (due to the treatment of the lead girl, trapped in a nunnery).
