Robett S @mushroom-clouds Oct 16, 2026 Slasher films are not a favorite -- of mine -- but nevertheless, this film was better than 'Showgirls,' not a slasher film but another sort of vengeance film. I am reminded vaguely of the street punks scene in 'Prince of Darkness'. What this film does well was escalation of conflict. True to its name, vengeance was the very plate on the menu. See more

Cash M @RT77770334 Aug 5, 2023 I "truly" enjoyed this movie. I'm Facebook friends with the director, Paul Ragsdale. This has no effect on my review. I was a child of the 80s and I watched horror films the whole time, and I "quickly" embraced slashers. As an adult, I'm a full-blown slasher addict/nerd. I'll take any slasher I can get. What Paul Ragsdale told me once was that he loves making horror movies that remind him of the 80s, and I admire that. ‘Slashlorette Party' is a complete throwback to 80s Italian giallo films. If you love 80s slashers, I "highly" recommend it. It's a love letter to 80s italian giallo films. See more
