What to Know

Critics Consensus

Bordello of Blood is not as scary or funny as it thinks it is (or should've been), and all of Dennis Miller's lines sound like castoffs from his stand-up material.

This film is badly plotted. If anything, it tries to tell too much tale. And though its special effects are good, the vampires are too easily dispatched, and the laborious finale is predictable. Go to Full Review Joe Leydon Variety May 19, 2008
Adolescent boys might groove to the mix, but most other ticketbuyers will avoid this tawdry opus like the plague. Go to Full Review Richard Harrington Washington Post Jan 22, 2002
Triple the length of its cable television inspiration, Tales From the Crypt Presents Bordello of Blood is triple the gore, triple the naked women, but not, alas, triple the fun. Go to Full Review Patrick Cavanaugh The Wolfman Cometh Sep 22, 2023

It's pretty lame most of the way, but interspersed with authentically humorous references. Go to Full Review Mike Massie Gone With The Twins Sep 10, 2020

The bloodshed, though graphic, is thoroughly creative, utilizing fake appendages and prosthetics - and other mutilative yucks - for successful outrageousness. Go to Full Review Read all reviews
