While it pales in comparison to such horror anthology predecessors as Tales from the Crypt, Asylum and Creepshow, Tales of Halloween offers enough minor diversions to make it enjoyable late-night viewing.

This horror anthology has the quality of a YouTube playlist; I enjoyed the episodes "Grim Grinning Ghost" and "This Means War" the most. Visually, "Tales of Halloween," despite its limited budget, manages to conjure a decent Halloween atmosphere. The individual stories are also pleasantly short.
