Ola G @Ollie1972 Oct 17, 2026 This independent biographical crime drama film follows Ted Kaczynski (Played truly convincing by Sharlto Copley), the mathematics professor who, after quitting his job to live as a survivalist in Lincoln, Montana, becomes a domestic terrorist and launches a nationwide mail bombing campaign in protest of modern technology and the destruction of nature. Following the publication of his manifesto by The Washington Post, Kaczynski is dubbed the Unabomber by the media, and his actions prompt the Federal Bureau of Investigation to conduct their largest and most expensive investigation in history. I personally felt that the film engaged me to try to wrap my head around this malcontent environmental terrorist and read more about him. I know quite a bit of the topic, but "Ted K" does cinematically define him as person and his approach to what he thought was wrong in the society. Well worth a watch. Chilling that it is based on true events, Ted K must have been a very special human being. Intriguing, Emotional, drama filled, suspense, emotion and realistic feel about it. Lots of research went into this production and that is admirable. Stark, fascinating, gritty and thought provoking. Entertaining and memorable See more Daniel N @Hotchopeppa Oct 2, 2025 Was interesting learning more about who Ted was and what his home life was like but I would not watch this again. Very slow and nothing really happens. See more kevenquinlan T @RT75276071 Aug 21, 2025 Ok, Sharlto is a phenom actor AND he did a great job. BUT- I don't care enough about Ted K to bother keeping this for my collection. Basically, he's an evil, idiosyncratic, Socially inept, nerd. Lived in the woods and wanted to be left alone. He should've just joined the Amish? They are everything he is?! Like I said, it's not so much the acting or even the movie, I just don't find Ted K interesting. He was a weirdo that terrorized the country. Not gonna keep for my collection but it was worth a watch.
