Love it See more Ben B. @Boldbravebigbenbrown Feb 25 While a far cry from TMMT 1 (and lesser so TMNT 2) I find this three-quel to be a fun, nostalgic romp in the Ninja Turtle canon. Sure...the lines are cheesy, the plot is a little flimsy, but overall it's fun, funny and a great one to watch with the fam. I like that they explored an entirely new plot direction that takes them away from the city but keeps the swashbuckling turtle charm. It's quintessentially 90s and a fun, albeit, looser conclusion to this era of Turtle movies. Watch it with your kids, you'll laugh AND wince! Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael still feel like real characters rather than digital creations, which gives the movie warmth and personality. The pacing issues, weaker villains, and uneven tone are more noticeable with age, but the humor remains effective. It stands as a flawed but memorable piece of franchise history. It still matters. I personally enjoy the first two films and turtles are still amusing but the plot is lacking.
