TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 19h Bad Guardian starring Melissa Joan Hart is a surprisingly powerful and emotional film that delivers far more than expected. While it may not be a blockbuster, it tells a gripping story centered around the exploitation of vulnerable elderly people, shedding light on a harsh reality that often goes unnoticed. The film handles its dark subject matter with care, never feeling overly dramatic or forced. Melissa Joan Hart gives a strong and grounded performance, bringing depth and authenticity to her role. The story itself is unsettling at times, but it remains engaging and meaningful throughout. It doesn’t rely on shock value, instead choosing to present its message in a realistic and impactful way. Overall, Bad Guardian is a thought-provoking film that raises awareness while still being an engaging watch. It’s emotional, well-acted, and definitely worth checking out. See more Annette M @Suite6045 2d Having been in the senior housing industry for all of my career, I found this movie to be so petty and unrealistic. Melissa Joan Harts character was mousy, unconfident and frankly very unrealistic. It took her character a long dragged out time to finally grow a backbone and start doing something. The car accident scene also was unrealistic, when she stated she wasn’t sure that somebody intentionally hit her, and also when the husband said the car would cost $2000 to repair… The first thing I thought of was what about car insurance??! just was very disappointed. I fast forwarded through a lot of the process of her setting up her case. In the end? The guardian didn’t even get arrested.! just not worth watching! Frustrating. Characters Unrealistic .
