tears. this is the first movie i’ve seen in years to make me cry. beautiful outlook on child adversity and extremely realistic view of what adults go through to survive.

Ninety minutes of watching kids run wild while their mom spirals, and yeah, sure, empathy’s there—but who cares? The whole thing builds to nothing. No payoff, no closure—just a fade-out that leaves you wondering why you bothered. I wanted to see what happened.. DCF, whatever—give me the damn ending. Instead, it’s all vibes and no spine. Waste of time. One star.
