Walt (Shameik Moore) is an unemployed underachiever who discovers a newfound talent for bowling. Encouraged by a barfly named Skunk (D'Arcy Carden), he launches a pro career to save the local bowling alley from foreclosure. With his powerful rolling skills and unconventional style, Walt becomes an unlikely bowling hero -- much to the chagrin of legendary champion Linda "The Crusher" Curson (Susan Sarandon).

Feels like a Zucker Brothers movie. They throw so much at the wall, but a lot of it sticks, a lot of it doesn't, and it's dumb!... It's not "good," but I laughed a lot.

As with most comedies that throw everything out there (and throw common sense out the window) to get laughs, some bits and pieces don’t land. But the Lesters thankfully cram in enough ghettofabulous gags to keep me continuously giggling.

A well-thought-out joke that could’ve aimed to score much higher with its hilarity, factoring in the formula’s meaningless diversions proven unnecessary when it’s all about having a good time as evident through Moore and Carson’s dynamic. (B)

Sometimes you need to watch movies the way you could just turn off your brain and just enjoy the fact that the movie know exactly what it is and this comedy that’s beyond hilarious take on being ignorant as possible is a true definition of an enjoyable movie
