Teddy B @RT90521672 6 days ago I feel like I shouldn't be actively waiting for the Human Centipede to happen (Full Sequence, of course, not like the sequence in the third is any fuller, apparently). The best exploitation movies know what to do with the scenes that are blood, guts and gore. They inject humour and wit like John Waters' 'Trash Trilogy'. They at least try to explore something subtextually interesting like in 'Cannibal Holocaust' or 'Begotten'. They at least include some pleasant scenery like in 'I Spit on Your Grave'. This movie was a drag. Totally. Completely. Six cannot add enough meta elements and Lynchian pastiches to save his life. He generates zero interest in the narrative---morbid or otherwise. The centipede is certainly disturbing, if only because of how far the reactions of victims in horror movies can create gut feelings of dread far more effectively than any other method. A mess and a drag, and not nearly as interesting (if on the same level of quality) as the first... See more

Peter W @RT12077588 Oct 23, 2026 When audiences expressed their disgust at The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (2009), director Tom Six seemingly responded with, "LOL, hold my beer." As a sequel, The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) delivers on its promise to push everything further, upping the levels of gruesomeness, grotesquery, disgust, violence and sadism to uncomfortable extremes. But where the first film offered stakes, scares, tension and characters you could actually care about, almost all of that disappears here. Instead, we follow one seriously disturbed villain, played by Laurence R. Harvey, who will probably haunt your dreams once you've seen this. The black-and-white visuals are an interesting choice. They somewhat tone down the visual impact of the violence and bloodshed while also giving the film a grimy, almost artistic aesthetic that suits its disturbing tone. That said, this is definitely not a film I’ll be rushing to rewatch anytime soon, and perhaps never again. See more

TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Oct 6, 2026 The Human Centipede Part Two is just as awful as the first one. I honestly do not understand what people see in a movie like this or why anyone thought it was a good idea to create a film built around such a disturbing concept. The entire premise is uncomfortable, and for me, it never becomes meaningful horror or anything entertaining. The dynamics are completely back-and-forth, and I kept wondering what the filmmaker was thinking. Instead of developing a story with substance, the movie seems focused on pushing the disturbing concept further. That does not make it creative or compelling to me. It makes the experience feel unnecessary and unpleasant. Overall, this is a disastrous film from beginning to end. I did not find real creativity, character development, or storytelling that made the experience worthwhile. I cannot recommend The Human Centipede Part Two to anyone. It is simply not a movie I would ever choose to revisit or watch again. See more

Rayne K @StardreamerSky Oct 6, 2026 This has to be the sickest, sleaziest movie I have ever seen in my life. Tom Six truly let it all hang out in this one. The Full Sequence was nothing more than exploitation of the nastiest kind. Yes, there is scat. Don't say I did not warn you. The first 50 minutes were horrifying but not totally unwatchable. Most of the characters are despicable, but that's usually the case in extreme cinema. However, the remaining 37 minutes plunge into an abyss of the most stomach-churning violence I have ever seen onscreen. After suffering through the cinematic mayhem for around 25 minutes or so, the baby-crushing scene didn't affect me in the way I thought it would have. The shock value starts to wear off after awhile. Don't get me wrong, it was bad, just in a more heartbreaking way than a "gross-out" way. I don't recommend this movie at all. It's senseless, sadistic cruelty with no point or real context. I don't see how a human being could feel compelled to create this. See more
