The Line is a campus thriller that plunges into the dangerous world of college fraternities and blind adherence to tradition. Alex Wolff stars as Tom, a scholarship student desperate to break free from his working-class background who is charmed by the prestigious KNA fraternity's promises of high social status and alumni connections that open doors. But upon beginning a romance with Annabelle (Halle Bailey), a classmate outside of his social circle, and the manipulative schemes of his fraternity president (Lewis Pullman) unfolding during the hazing of new members, Tom finds himself ensnared in a perilous game of ambition and loyalty.

The Line tackles huge topics on a small scale. The story feels intimate and grounded. Thanks to the writing and the incredible cast, it’s a story that’s relatable, even to those who have never been in a fraternity.

What? Took forever to get to the big scene and then just ended like 5 mins later with barely any explanation. I don’t understand how this has such good reviews. Do not waste your time on this.

This film was so sad but effective. It got its point across. I mean it was just too real. Alex Wolff is the one to watch. I mean the whole cast and crew was perfect. Rest In Peace Angus. Also, Halle Bailey is eye candy. And her character was so funny. One take away from the movie: Money doesn’t make you a man.
