It feels too short and seems awkward in its attempt to introduce a larger narrative that doesn’t seem to have a resolution. Vixo S @vixo_six 2h The Punisher One Last Kill is an effective but incomplete action film, sustained more by Jon Bernthal than by the story around him. The violence is fast, direct and often entertaining, and the film works when it accepts its simple promise: Frank Castle moving through chaos because he no longer knows how to stop. Bernthal gives Frank rage, exhaustion and pain, making him feel heavier than the material itself. Deborah Ann Woll adds emotional contrast as Karen, reminding us that the character is stronger when someone can still see the person beneath the violence. The film tries to explore vulnerability through fractured memories and visions, but its conclusion feels strangely empty. Instead of healing or change, Frank seems pushed toward killing as his only remaining purpose. The action delivers, but the drama feels unfinished.
