Jacob W @RT17896586 6 days ago This is a great film of self determination and self discovery. Ben stiller who as well as starring also directed the movie expresses through this touching and insightful story that as well as being a good actor he is also a skilled director. What’s even more exciting is that up until this movie I only thought that Stiller did comedy. However this proves that there is more to his bow than that. Very well done and enjoyable. See more Frans B @FransB Oct 6, 2026 Brilliant! Deserving of epic status. Ben Stiller absolutely shines in character, and as director. Kristen Wiig is just perfect in all respects, one of the most capable actresses ever, IMO. Great storytelling and breathtaking cinematography. Visually stunning movie. Lots of awkwardness, drama, daydreaming, action, suspense, emotion, intrigue and very real life feel to it (with a healthy dose of fantasy and imagination thrown in, just like we are every day). Captivating and fascinating See more William B @RT88420256 Oct 5, 2026 Great feel good film See more Johann D. M @Johann33 Sep 29, 2026 Yet another story about personal transformation, overcoming one’s obstacles and mental barriers, and finally learning to experience life, but this time with a plethora of daydreaming sequences that are funny at first and then not so much. The cinematography is stunning, thanks to the outstanding, beautifully shot, postcard-worthy locations, and Ben Stiller does a very good job directing himself as this relatable yet odd-looking character. But he still does what he always does. Some moments are hilarious, while others are downright cringy. Still, the entire adventure is worth highlighting, particularly because of its final outcome, which is quite unexpected and satisfying. Some of the song choices are especially memorable and contribute to making the film such an entertaining and compelling experience. The film is also surprisingly rich in semiotic elements, with the red and blue color motifs being particularly relevant, as well as the constantly changing lighting throughout the film.
