Il processo e gli avvenimenti sono talmente esagerati e mal celati da sembrare una caricatura di ciò che potrebbe realmente essere. La sceneggiatura è creata grossolanamente con l'unico scopo di tenere alto il ritmo e di cercare, senza successo, di smuovere la coscienza dello spettatore portandolo prima ad avvicinarsi alla presunta innocente per poi allontanarsi con rabbia dalla presunta colpevole.
