Paul lives an isolated life with his father in upstate New York. He finds making friends impossible due to a rare condition he has known as congenital hypertrichosis -- an affliction that causes an abnormal amount of hair growth all over his face and body. At every moment, I was holding my breath and waiting for this film to become treacle, just absolute cotton candy. To the credit of director Martin Krejcí and writer Olivia Dufault: they take some time choices. They don't sugarcoat everything.

Um filme admirável,mais é aquele tipo de filme que você vê uma vez e depois não vê novamente, TALVEZ recomendar para outra pessoa,mais tem uma história boa e faz você refletir bastante, atuações impecáveis e e um tema que eu achei muito necessário, Só sinto que faltou algo a mais.

I thought it was good overall and an interesting story, but I just felt that they could have done more with it. Some of the stuff didn't really add up, like burning down the carnival & having that guy chasing him throughout the whole movie. Good ending where he finds his family & grandfather to talk to about his situation.
