Al arranque con la premisa de la película la verdad que no esperaba mucho pero a medida que avanza y se desarrolla logra un tono tierno que se siente autentico y sin duda la hace destacar sobre otras historias clichés que estoy acostumbrado a ver. Es una combinación rara que logra funcionar, entrega un par de buenos mensajes sobre relaciones de pareja pero de forma que se siente naif e inocente y eso es bueno de varias maneras. La verdad que por la premisa original no le habría prestado atención pero la presencia de Samara Weaving me hizo ver una joyita que me sorprendió gratamente. I think this film uses many silly stereotypes, not only about latinos but about women. And there is some conflict between parts of the plot, like how much and when the main character knew about his mother's relationship with a neighbor.
