J D @Jo_eyd 4 days ago Truly full of performances yearning for their paycheck. Threw this on during on Halloween and wish i threw my TV out the window instead. This takes every enjoyable part of Jaws and shits on it. Enjoy! See more Candy S @Candy589 Oct 15, 2026 If you're wondering why sharks have such a bad reputation, look no further than this movie. Let's see, there is blood, blood, blood and more blood. So if gore is not your cup of tea, don't watch this movie. I think the entire budget went into the litres of blood used in this movie, leaving none for the actual plot. But let's face it, this movie doesn't claim to be the next Tarantino. It's here to deliver a shark-infested water-survival story, and it does. Yes, the characters make some dumb decisions, but it's a horror movie; they usually do. In my opinion, this movie shines through its characters. Each one is unique and has some funny retort. My favourite is Dr Dale Edwards (he is so done with the journalist, and I respect that). So will this movie leave you pondering the human impact on our planet? No! Will it leave you cheering for the shark when they go for the shitty fostering parents? Yeah! It's low stake, for fun movie...enjoy it as such. See more Nathan J @TribianiRamoray Oct 14, 2026 Rated: 5.0/10 As a survival genre fan, a hurricane flooding a town with sharks sounded fun. Wirkola usually nails campy chaos, but this feels stitched together and struggles to stay afloat. The Director's Eye (What Worked): • Dynevor and Peak sell the panic as water rises. • Flooded sets turn streets into murky hunting grounds. • Hounsou brings gravitas, braving the storm. The Friction (What Didn't Click for Me): • A blood tanker luring sharks downtown is goofy. • Juggling three subplots makes the pacing messy. • After four title changes, you feel the identity crisis. The Verdict: Meh. Watch for a creature feature. Skip if messy plots ruin tension. See more Ian R @RT23899272 Oct 4, 2026 I was waiting for this film to get to the good part. It has none. See more Rui F @RuiOfTheDead Sep 28, 2026 THRASH (2026) doesn’t have much worth mentioning. Another dismissable shark movie that will inevitably be forgotten once the next summer comes and a few others get released. See more Benjamin W @Code70 Sep 13, 2026 Forgettable and ultimately pointless creature feature. I mean, it’s basically just a significantly lesser version of Crawl. It’s the same plot elements, just sharks replacing the alligators. None of the characters are remotely compelling, so you don’t care about them enough to fear for their safety, and it just doesn’t really have anything to offer besides a few kills. The kills are decent. And there’s 1 or 2 effective sequences. But there’s literally nothing it offers beyond that. Some effective moments here and there, but in general, it doesn’t deliver anything worthwhile, and thus isn’t worth your time. See more Read all reviews
