Robichaud is most interested in the liberating journey of these two women as they get in touch with what makes them happy, both in bed and out. It’s frisky fun. Go to Full Review

A one-note joke in the original, here it becomes one of the most important psychological beats for the character. Go to Full Review

Ultimately, “Two Women” is less a message movie than a featherweight comedy, gesturing at big ideas about sexual politics before settling in as an amusingly mischievous diversion. Go to Full Review

Sometimes this sort of movie is a celebration of unabashed sexuality, and other times it’s more about shame, before defaulting back to the virtues of monogamy; this one splits the difference. Go to Full Review

Two Women cannot overcome its fatally dated narrative foundations... [and] the result is dramatically muddled and thematically outmoded. Go to Full Review

I’m sure people will be turned off by Two Women and its blase approach to sex and infidelity. But if you can shut down the part of your brain that may be outraged, you may be rewarded with an unorthodox tale of modern love. Go to Full Review

Moody C @MoodyC Apr 29 This looks like a diversion with some comedy & raunchy scenes with nudity almost bordering on porn. No complaints here but may be unexpected for more conservative viewers. I didn’t get any substantial msg other than we need sex & relationships are messy which is kinda duh! See more Stephen C @bob25009 Apr 24 Funny in 1 hour and 40 minutes. In French with English subtitles. See more CadeandKit R @CadeandKit Dec 11 Funny, French, and Deeply Human A slice-of-life comedy that’s somehow about postpartum recovery, aging, bisexuality, meds, marriage, divorce, exhibitionism, and cooperative garden planning. It’s messy, honest, and weirdly sweet. Two neighbors form a friendship that turns into a liberation spiral. From baby monitors to rat control to hired flings... it’s chaos! Delivered with humor, charm, and just enough absurdity to make you laugh out loud. Think: "Eat Pray Love" but in a Montreal apartment building with a crow screaming through the wall. And somehow it all works. See more Read all reviews
