Alejandro G @GalacticCritic 3 days ago Synopsis: In this action-packed sci-fi thriller, 81, an E-6 in the United States Army, finds himself in a dangerous situation. After his brother is killed by the Taliban, he sets out to fulfill their shared dream of becoming Army Rangers by attending the Ranger Assessment and Selection Program. After several grueling weeks, they finally reach The Death March, only for things to go south when they encounter an extraterrestrial mechanical killing machine. Overall: This movie was great. It kept me engaged throughout, even during moments that felt predictable. You find yourself wondering why nobody has come to help, especially after The Death March should have concluded. However, you begin to realize, even before it’s explicitly explained, that this is a full-scale invasion. My only issue is a noticeable continuity error. At the beginning, 81 is an E-6, but by the end, he’s referred to as a corporal. Otherwise, a great movie for fans of both sci-fi and action. See more Fletcher L @flou333 4 days ago Great film! Reminds me of the first Predator just more polished and Robotic! See more Alisha G @alishagoodwin Oct 22, 2026 Not at all what I expected, loved it. See more Chris T @RT06482940 Oct 21, 2026 I like the progression of the movie and how tension was built in certain parts, it really made me want to see them destroy those things hahahahaah and it kind of reminded me of terminator. But obviously it's a different movie, I wait I didn't come into the movie thinking it was gonna be based off military or anything because every movie has their own aspect of how they go about things. I admire like the no i admire theeee perseverance that they showed in the middle of the movie when they were trying to get away from that thing but it did make me sad that it destroys everyone in that battalion. i think they did a good job at the cgi and effects it looked pretty real and badass, the mech thing was cool. The actors did a great job at their roles, i love jack reacher. my favorite character was the female, she was super funny and was badass boii. -Jwan -Kweyuk -Jswan See more Jacob W @SteelioTontos Oct 21, 2026 Hi, military guy here. Some military movies get stuff right....this isnt it. Overly corny, the whole rah rah mentality isn't a thing. The call back to the "stop leak" at the end was stupid. Love Alan Ritchson, Dennis Quaid and Jai Courtney but this movie was a bust for me. See more Michael P @MikeP29 Oct 14, 2026 Whilst formulaic and a bit predictable, it ultimately is an engrossing movie that shines by giving it's characters time to breathe and set the scene. The acting from Ritchson was a stand out even if some dialogue was a bit cheesy at times. The action was brutal and well shot with the cinematography looking excellent, even if it felt like it was a lacking on the production design part and the score being cheesy as heck. The story had a genuinely good understanding of what it was and gave the main character time to breathe, even if it didn't do the same for anyone else. As an experience, I had a really good time with it See more Read all reviews
