War of the Worlds is an American-produced film that was released in 2025 and is based on the novel written by H. G. Wells in 1898. It was directed by Rich Lee and produced by Patrick Aiello and Timur Bekmambetov. It features Ice Cube as the lead actor, who is also a famous American rapper.You'd think that having all these famous people involved in the film, along with it being based on such an amazing book, would make the movie amazing as well. If you thought that, you would be wrong. I would rather fail all my final exams than watch this movie for a second time.The plot of the movie is about an alien race invading Earth. The aliens are quite cool; they are big, tall, and spooky. They also use a laser mechanism to destroy cities. Ice Cube plays a government official, and the entire movie consists of him sitting at his computer in a close-up shot (no, there are no other shots besides close-ups). As the world gets destroyed, he doesn't get up from his computer once. I do not reccomend.

The fact that Robbie survived at the end after getting annihilator by the armada of tripods is the ultimate culmination of Spielberg's work. This movie sucked. 👎

Easily Cube’s worst movie in his filmography. The visual effects are laughably bad, the acting is horrendous, the editing is distracting, and the plot is stupid! I was rooting for Cube playing a different role than usual, but this movie SUCKS! I’m talking SHARKNADO territory! 1/10!
