Basically this is a Bogey and Bacall movie with Dane DeHaan, who is really good! Go to Full Review

Where it’s lacking in psychological bite, Wardriver’s demi-monde is convincingly venal in general terms. Thomas lends it enough fast-driving attack and romanticised ferment that it might just pass in the darkness for a Michael Mann film. Go to Full Review

This slick femme fatale thriller from director Rebecca Thomas finds DeHaan in fine form and and features a screenplay from Daniel Casey that’s lined with surprises. Go to Full Review

A grounded, atmospheric thriller that prioritizes character over spectacle. Dane DeHaan’s haunting, weary performance anchors the film, elevating a familiar neo-noir plot. While it lacks depth in its villains, it's a solid ride. Go to Full Review

By turns graceful and clumsy, [DeHaan]'s a terrific lead and holds things together like rebar. Go to Full Review

James Brown once advised Eddie Murphy to remove his money from the bank and bury it in his backyard to keep the government from taking it. "Wardriver" will make you nervous but stops short of compelling you to drain your bank accounts and bury the money. Go to Full Review

Shane W @RT88231596 1d Its kinda going for this "drive" atmosphere but fails big time. This was a tough watch, Dane Dehaan was phoning this role in and it shows. See more Angelo P. @Darksev92 5d Had potential but kinda fizzled out in the second half. But Dane DeHaan did carry the film with his exceptional performance. See more Dan C @DerBWolfs Apr 30 Awesome, twisty little indie! Great directing, great performances. 5/5. See more Jan V @RT02852297 Apr 26 Incredible thrill ride down a smart and riveting highway into the sunset! See more Slick R @SlickReviewer Apr 21 Pretty decent movie. But unrealistic because every single atm has cameras so his face is plastered on every single one of them. And what's up with him not wearing a mask later on in the movie during the heist? Every place has cameras nowdays. But if he remotely turned off the cameras and deleted all the footage then the director should have shown that, would have taken just a few seconds. 'Crime 101' (2026) was brilliant with an epic ending. 'Wardriver' (2026) carry the similar confidence as 'Crime 101' good acting + directing, However 'Wardriver' becomes too unbelievable at the 2nd fight scene. Early in the film the main character "12 year old looking" nerdy hacker (Dane Dehaan) is beat by ex-pro kickboxer felon (Mamoudou Athie) who threatens more brute force unless Dehaan hacks a bank account. Later Dehaan catches corrupt attorney's (Jeffrey Donovan) bodyguard, ex-con thug (William Belleau) breaking in to Dehaan's home, unarmed Dehaan assaults the armed bodyguard with a bat followed by punches then pistol whips the much larger bodyguard till he's unconscious 😳🙄 The scrawny hacker then drags & throws the heavy man in the trunk, drives somewhere secluded, fires a "scare shot" -- Why director wanted this totally unrealistic fight scene is beyond me See more Read all reviews
