Technology has advanced significantly since 1988, but Roger Rabbit doesn't just hold up, it wows.

For audiences who grew up with cartoons as a natural part of their moviegoing, the shock may not be the mix of live and animated folk--it may come from the truly revolutionary sight of great icons of rival studios cheerfully rubbing shoulders.

Imagine watching cartoon characters and relating to them as if they were flesh-and-blood instead of paint-and-ink. This is the slap-happy effect of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and - please - a 24-carrot salute to director Robert Zemeckis.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit? rockets from start to finish in a manner that not only seems tremendously innovative, but effortless as well.

I find Who Framed Roger Rabbit a deplorable development in the possibilities of animation -- and a melancholy waste of the gifts of one of our most gifted actors.

I loved all the comedy in it with the toons. I wish we had cartoon characters coexisting with us like in the movies right now.

This is one of the best movies I have ever seen It features my favorite cartoon characters, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Speedy Gonzales, Sylvester, Tweety, Woody Woodpecker, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Snow White, Dumbo, The Three Little Pigs, The Big Bad Wolf, Pete, Daisy Duck, Betty Boop, Clarabelle Cow, Horace Horsecollar, Wile E Coyote, Road Runner, Droopy, and so much more. I love the mystery story, I love the characters, I love the animation, everything about this movie is wonderful. I recommend buying it on 4k Blu-ray, watching it on Disney Plus, and buying it on a digital storefront, this movie is just the best movie, and one of the reasons I am planning to be a cartoonist when I become an adult.

7.9/10. Was pretty funny but not how I imagined the movie would play out at all. Had some confusing moments and a creepy ending, but was an entertaining watch with memorable characters.

Absolute masterpiece. Groundbreaking in so many respects. My son knew the lines in the movie by heart, that's how many times we viewed it 😜🤣 Very funny, tragic, heartwarming, heartbreaking, dramatic, melodramatic, silly and filled with wisdom. Many punchy and witty one-liners. Entertaining and captivating
