Nekrips R @RT10725321 5 days ago This movie feels like it was cobbled together from clips of other movies. Literally. The plot is pretty naive and simple. Evil seizes power, and good tries to defeat it. Only here, "good" takes the form of a young wizard boy and a lone adult warrior. The main villain here is quite charismatic. The wizard battles look pretty good. Unlike the typical sword fights, which look like a circus act - in a bad way. Sometimes what’s happening on screen resembles total chaos. It makes you laugh even in moments where the movie didn’t intend to. Monsters, magic, beautiful women, and special effects are all present. Overall, it's not the worst example of its genre at the time. See more

Shannon L @RT98239641 Nov 30, 2024 We cannot stop laughing at this!! It’s not good, but we can’t stop watching as each monster character is crazier than the last!! The effects are cracking us up too! It’s intriguing! But yes it’s bad, not a good quality movie. It’s a great study on how far we’ve come with effects, sets, props, costuming and acting. Lookout for the insect woman, a bat lion in the sky and a dwarf vampire bat looking creature!! Mimics Star Wars, land of the lost and wizard of Oz. It’s a wild ride!! See more

Jun 16, 2017 This is basically a crappy knockoff of Star Wars: A New Hope mixed with some Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back See more

Jun 16, 2017 The fact that this movie was made after movies with half decent special effects is baffling. They should just not have made this thing. I think I could do better with my phone. See more

Apr 23, 2017 If not for MST3K's version of this, it it absolutely horrid. See more

Aug 21, 2015 A delightful bad Fantasy film made entirely in Argentina for US audiences. A combination of hideous acting, laughable story & just cheesy fun. The story of a young wizard searching for a magic stone to destroy the evil wizard controlling his kingdom. The film is atrocious but really funny for example the young wizard's main sidekick is a creature that honestly looks no different than a mattress protector. Will appeal greatly to bad film enthusiasts & Is a lot of fun. Great dodgy special affects also. See more
