Fizzy, colourful and intricately plotted, this 2012 pop meta-fiction from The Simpsons' Rich Moore does for vintage arcade games what Who Framed Roger Rabbit did for the Golden Age of Animation. Go to Full Review

Phil Johnston and Jennifer Lee’s script finds sad, trapped, silly characters locked inside their programming and desperate to escape, and in these energetic and colorful settings, losing yourself in their struggle for freedom and acceptance is effortless. Go to Full Review

"Wreck-it Ralph" sets the table nicely but almost squanders it’s originality and cleverness with its frantic and occasionally numbing midsection. Go to Full Review

Dealer's Choice 11/19/2024 Fine for a kid's movie. My kid liked it. See more Abby A @AABBYY 1d I judge myself for being happily LGBTQ+ and following an uncommon religion, but the movie be like, "If you change yourself just for other people who don’t get you, you might not find out what it means to be yourself no matter what label you have, and you might do more damage than good". That’s why Wreck it Ralph has got that relatability because you’ll never know who you could inspire when you inspire yourself to become the person you really are. ♡ See more Tracey M @Tracey_M Jul 16 Truly an all-ages movie, I don't know why it gets treated as a kids' one. Up there with the Toy Story series in terms of creative effort, attention to detail, memorable characters, well-developed setting, and actual surprises regarding the plot and antagonists. See more diogo13 T @Tua_mera Jul 12 Uma animação muito divertida. Embora o ritmo perca alguma força na metade final dentro do jogo de doces, o conceito é brilhante, as referências são ótimas e a dupla de protagonistas transborda carisma. See more Lynn D @RT96642615 Jul 6 Okay, even though it isn't February I am all for black history, hence why I'm a big fan of this movie. If you pay attention, you can see how the subway system is the underground railroad, especially since everyone knows you die out of your game (game=cotton farm). Now; I believe this doesn't need any elaboration. So overall this movie is wonderful until around 28:44 when all hell breaks loose and Ralph starts straight-up grooming Venelope Von Sweets. He acts like a guardian to her but then forms a strong emotional unhealthy obsession with her to the point where he can't bear the thought of her dying. Keep in mind she's like, 10 and vulnerable because she can't even control her bodily urges (glitching.) So like, mid. I like the slave rep but not the molestee, pedophiliac glamorization and lack of diversity. See more Mitchell S @Mitchstur Jun 28 More of a Pixar than a Disney!!! It's original, really creative, and has great life messages! Game on! See more Read all reviews
