See more Abby A @AABBYY 1d I judge myself for being happily LGBTQ+ and following an uncommon religion, but the movie be like, "If you change yourself just for other people who don’t get you, you might not find out what it means to be yourself no matter what label you have, and you might do more damage than good". Up there with the Toy Story series in terms of creative effort, attention to detail, memorable characters, well-developed setting, and actual surprises regarding the plot and antagonists. If you pay attention, you can see how the subway system is the underground railroad, especially since everyone knows you die out of your game (game=cotton farm). Now; I believe this doesn't need any elaboration. So overall this movie is wonderful until around 28:44 when all hell breaks loose and Ralph starts straight-up grooming Venelope Von Sweets. He acts like a guardian to her but then forms a strong emotional unhealthy obsession with her to the point where he can't bear the thought of her dying. Keep in mind she's like, 10 and vulnerable because she can't even control her bodily urges (glitching.) So like, mid.
